Oh yes, I can see why you fell for that sparrow Maragert

Lowri (and anyone else who feels daunted) please just jump in. There’s no need to comment unless you want to - we’re a friendly bunch and really quite like people jumping in and out.

Have a look at what my students did this morning at a workshop I ran, I’m so proud of them

Are you going to be doing more classes Stephie or will this be a one off? Did you enjoy teaching?

I really did enjoy teaching Margaret and if I’m asked to do any more workshops then I certainly will, providing they’re in the day and are within 45 mins of home. I’m toying with the idea of a regular class but am a bit afraid of running out of ideas!

Well done on the class Stephie, it’s fun isn’t it?

made it on here at last…what a day. this morning I looked out of the window and saw a tiny dog on our patio…our garden is enclosed so the only way in is from the fields and mountain behind us…He was soaked, so I brought him in and dried him off and gave him a drink. I went outside and no sign of an owner…quick thinking and I put an announcement on facebook !
It took less than 5 mins to find the owner who is in WEST WALES…over an hour away and this adorable little lad had been missing for TEN DAYS !!! He is now happily reunited with them…how amazing is THAT !!! and how amazing that I should look out of the window and see him when I did, not to mention that he chose our garden…all the other neighbours are at work !
Now I have to catch up…haven’t had time to list today yet…
Lovely work everyone and welcome to the new ladies!!

Well done Brenda on looking after the dog and reuniting it with his owner, they must have been delighted to see him again!

I really gave me such a lot of pleasure Margaret…I love a happy ending and having been missing for 10 days, they that they would never see him again…what a lot of luck on his side.
Here is today’s listing

afternoon everyone…I am still glowing from the happy ending to the doggy tale today…and I was so happy that I was one of the people to help get “Bobby” back home to his owners.
Today I have listed another aceo landscape.,
I am not sure that I like the idea that when in someone’s shop and you click on an item it magnifies it by 4 times. I just held my original up to the screen and yes it is FOUR TIMES larger. That is ok for a lot of things but on a mini painting it distorts the image somewhat…what do you all think?
Just in my shop with all the other paintings it looks fine, but magnified it blurs it.
Oh well, nothing I can do about it but I hope that people appreciate that the REAL thing is so much nicer than the online image.
Here it is…

Afternoon all, just back from lunch with daughter and step mum. What a lovely story to tell Brenda, your painting looks fine on mine but maybe I have different settings, gorgeous colours, I’m just adding the paintings I had on The other side shop over there is all empty now, also added an option for a mount

It looks great Brenda, so soft and dreamy. I know what you mean though, I’ve really been through the 'this is crap, I’m crap" cycle with my latest mini magazine article, and yet now that it’s finished I love it. Bearing in mind the magnification - it’s around 2 x 2.5 inches, you really see all the flaws when it’s blown up many times over
