I’m sharing a smoky grey trinket pot today.
Call went okay, changing my bp meds as the ones I am on cause ankle and feet swelling, plus the new ones will hopefully improve the readings. Collect those later if in at the pharmacy. From the 18th have to submit readings by text for 4 days, then speaking again on the 26th. If I get an adverse reaction to the change of meds revert to the original ones. So much to remember…….

I’m returning home to Scotland today after two weeks of great time in Dorset and beautiful Yorkshire. I’ve missed work and I can’t wait to go back to studio

I was hoping to go for a new listing today as I’ve got 4 waiting for me to finish them. I might still get one done later, but I’ve slightly overwhelmed myself with the Kindness Market start, so I’m going with an older listing here today.
I will get on with making the new stuff today… but there’s a person in my home, very kindly fixing a leak in the boiler, and I’m all jangly because there’s a stranger in my space.

We had rather a stressful day yesterday.
Elsa (the white one) came back from her early morning walk with my OH limping and bleeding - couldn’t see anything in the paw, but she couldn’t put any weight on it, so we called my SiL’s vet and got an appointment for that afternoon.
Just as we sat down to wait, a man came running in with a small black dog in his arms, crying that he had an emergency, that his dog had been attacked.
The vets reacted incredibly quickly, but sadly the poor creature didn’t make it, and I can’t get the incident out of my mind.
Elsa has torn a nail, and has been fitted with a Cone of Shame, which she absolutely hates. She keeps pawing my knee and staring at me balefully. Neither of us got much sleep last night.
Result is, I still haven’t got photos done. Will try and do some now.
How terrible, Nikki. I know how witnessing these sorts of things can play on the mind. Poor Elsa, I hope she makes a speedy recovery so she doesn’t have to wear the cone of shame for too long. Sending hugs.
