Thanks for pointing this out, I hadn’t even noticed it, mmmn I think it’s a little bit addictive to want to click on the items and check if they are in fact registering as sold, maybe that’s the idea! Well, I have already had my “one” sale of the month, so won’t watch out for myself on there until July, lol!
(don’t forget that not all sold items will show up in a shops “sold items”! i’ve just sold an illustration which was re-listed, so it won’t appear in my “sold items” - although it does appear on the front page, and i have definitely sold it)

Typical, I have now just sold something and missed it on the front page by an hour or so!
I never knew that, I’d have expected it to stay in your sold items as well as be relisted. Seems to me to be a bit of a flaw in the system.
it is still in your sold items, but it only appears once. so if an item was sold 12 months ago, and then the same thing was relisted and sold today, it’d be in amongst the sold stuff from a year ago. not appearing as something that was just sold.
although it has been just sold.

yeah, i think that’s what i was trying to say - in my own usual garbled way! 
i think it is all good promotion - if somebody wanted the item that was showing as sold, and really felt they have missed out, they could just contact you and perhaps you could make another item.
i would be pleased about the promotion and being on the front page.
