Bring Your Dog to Work Day is coming up on 20th June, and we’d love to feature a few of your fabulous furry assistants over on Folksy’s social channels!
So, if you’ve got a dog who keeps you company in your studio (or wherever you make from!), sneaks into your product shots, supervises your sewing, or just provides moral support and snack reminders – we want to see them!
Drop a photo of your doggo in the comments below We’ll be sharing a selection on our socials to celebrate the big day in June!
Hi
This is Hope and she is now 10 years old. We adopted her from The Dogs’ Trust and she was one of an abandoned litter of three Lurcher puppies. Obviously a Greyhound cross but with what we are not sure, probably a kangaroo!
Hope never seemed to grasp the idea of being a dog and likes to come and sit next to you on the sofa, legs swinging ready to join in with whatever it is you’re doing.
Sadie isn’t usually allowed in my little shed and even with the door open she’ll sit outside and whine at me if she ‘needs’ me for something important (ball throwing and treats!).
This morning though the smell of my jam toast must have been too much for her so she sat like a statue in front of me at my desk projecting ‘starved dog’ vibes at me until I gave her a corner of crust!
This is the face I see every time I use my glass grinder. For some reason Loki finds the process fascinating and sits there staring at me. It’s very distracting because doggo cuddles are not conducive to work.
This is our official mascot / third member of the team, Bob! He is always watching Shelley make, he loves to sit in the car when we are packing for market and has even taken to joining us AT market, which he absolutely loves! Also he kindly models the dog bandanas we have recently introduced as one of the accessories we sell at market and online
He is a very… spirited (yes, let’s go with ‘spirited’) little pickle but he is absolutely adorable and so it’s impossible to stay mad at him.
He’s a Dachshund / Jack Russell cross with all the traits of both breeds, in a wonderfully random and crazy, but beautiful and loving dog shaped form!
