Bring Your Dog to Work Day is coming up on 26th June
…and we’d absolutely love to feature a pack of your fabulous furry assistants!
So if you’ve got a doggo who: keeps you company in your studio paws-itively supervises your making sneaks into your product shots like a pro or simply provides moral support (and snack reminders )
…we want to see them!
Add a photo to this thread, or send it over on Instagram to @folksysellers OR add it to the thread on the Clubhouse. We’ll be sharing a selection on our socials to celebrate all the tail-wagging talent this June!
Let’s make it a pawsome celebration of the real bosses behind the craft table
This is Koko my crafting companion! She is the softest, kindest dog and loves everybody, not so keen on squirrels but hey! She can be found generally lolling about in my craft room and clearing up all the bits of paper and card in her fur, she acts a bit like a magnet for them!
This is Kipper, my companion in my craft room.
He isn’t much help though because if you drop anything he grabs it and runs off !
Makes sure I take breaks from my desk though lol
This is the Fluff Stuff gang (left to right) Henry, Lucy and Hector.
Lucy usually lurks around my desk, often lying right behind my chair so I can’t move (not always helpful if I need supplies from the other side of the room)! The boys only turn up occasionally to remind me when it’s time for tea and biscuits.
Here is Lulubelle, my daughter’s (11yo) first attempt on felting. Lulubelle has my daughter’s nickname, and she makes sure my brushes are tidy, as she finds it hard to stand anywhere else. She is also very sensitive and we don’t move her too much as her legs might come off (which would cause a big drama!).
p.s. just for fun, no need for publicity
This is Max (or Maximilian when he’s being a tyke). He recently appointed himself ‘Quality Assurance Manager’ in addition to his duties as the chair of the ‘Project Oversight Committee’. When he’s not keeping me accountable, he can be found upside down sleeping or impatiently letting me know it’s time for a walk, belly rub, and/or treats.
This is Zuzu, my Marketing Assistant, great when we do dog-friendly craft fairs! She also makes sure I stop work for breaks - that means treats, playing balloon or just a cuddle for her and a cuppa for me.
These are our two rescue dogs, Benny & Holly. Benny likes to keep a close eye on what I’m doing online. Holly keeps Dad company when he is working in the evening. When they’ve both finished for the day, they get together for a cuddle!
This is Ralph, he either sleeps next to me while I get on with things or interrupts me constantly! He’s also the model for my personalised photo gifts range.
This is Hope, my chaotic, neurotic 12 year old Lurcher.
She is really vigilant in her role of incoming parcel alert officer and, as you can see, takes it all very seriously. Then realises how old she is and just sleeps, but not before wrecking the sofa!
This is Millie (black) and Eric (brown). Eric tries to climb on my lap as soon as I sit at my sewing machine and Millie likes to bat the keyboard of my laptop with her paw when I’m trying to do admin work.
