The October promotion is a great idea, but how do you change/upload your own image on the template?!?!?!? I’m totally confused! Can someone write a step by step idiot-proof instruction of how to actually do this?

Not sure if it will help but you can remove the original image, click on it (if your on a tablet you’ll maybe have to click and hold for a second) and you should get the option to delete, once you done that you can add your own image, but them you need to look for the option to ‘send to back’ or something like that, which I think again if you click on the image you should get that option.
Sorry im not very good at explaining and im not very good with Canva but it might help?

I had such trouble with Canva that I nearly gave up but… if you click on the ‘Uploads’ button in the side menu you get a place where you can drag and drop or upload your own photos, then you have a library of your own uploads to choose from. Pick one and drag it onto a page of the template, resize it by dragging the buttons in the corners if necessary. If you click on that page of the template you’ll see a menu bar in the middle, a little white one, with a plus thing for duplicating the page, a bin, and three dots. Click on the three dots and you’ll get a drop-down menu with all sorts of useful stuff on it, took me AGES to find this, choose ‘Layer’ and then ‘Show Layers’ and you get a box that shows you all the layers. Drag your photo so it’s below the text and the coloured dot and bingo, it should look awesome.
You can then go to the ‘Share’ at top right of the screen, choose ‘Download’ and it’ll let you choose which page/s to download and the size and format. Good luck!

Hi natalie, I didnt have a clue either, Camilla added a short video to another thread this afternoon for me, I still struggled but managed it in the end.
It’s under the shop early for Christmas thread.
I would try to explain but fear I would just confuse you even more

I’m afraid the only way I can tell you how to find it is this;
Click on the magnifying glass at the top of this page and type in -
"What can we all do to make Folksy better known " It will come up with a thread dated 14th April.
Scroll down, keep scrolling and scroll some more until you get to Kim’s description on 11th May.
(If anyone knows how to share the link to Kim’s piece, then Bingo! )

Glad it wasn’t just me. I was going to join in the Christmas promotion but had to give up. I could change my picture but could I save it? Well maybe I did save it but can’t find it as there didn’t seem to be anywhere specific to save it to! Think I am just a dinosaur. Hey-ho!

You can re-title it and then it goes into the bit that says ‘your projects’ https://www.canva.com/projects/your-projects. Actually I think it makes a copy of the template and it goes in there anyway, to judge by the number of projects I have that are titled ‘Copy of…’
