Morning all papercrafters - another lovely sunny day - hopefully for us all
BIG thanks Steph for looking after the thread, such lovely items and a brill theme
Hope this weeks theme gets ideas buzzing, especially with schools/colleges etc closing for the summer soon.
Phew - that was tricky, the normal way of copy/pasting didn’t work, anyone else having trouble?
My holiday was brilliant, weather perfect. We revisited places we had been to before, Lindisfarne, Inner Farne Island, Bamburgh, Low Newton, Dunstanburgh and visited new ones, Alnwick Gardens and Castle (Hogwarts), Alnmouth. Beautiful county.
@cariadcrafts11 Carol, no probs always a pleasure! So pleased you enjoyed your hols, you had a good weather aswell! All the places you visited are lovely aren’t they, did you get attacked by the Gilleymot birds?..
I think that’s what they are called, not sure of my spelling…lol
Did you get your fish and chips?
I was waving again!
I was waving like mad lol. We were attacked by the arctic terns but we were warned and wore hats!!! and YES fish and chips at the Neptune at Seahouses as recommended. We liked Berwick upon Tweed too, walked the walls.
@cariadcrafts11 Carol, lol…waving! Gosh I got the bird species totally wrong, I’m no Bill Oddie…lol
I remember the Neptune well, that’s all Seahouses smells of …fish and chips! Lovely though
Totally agree Berwick is lovely, great little shops and market place.
Here’s mine,
Cross stitch image, on postage stamp shapes today!
Morning, rain in the night and looks like could be more to come, at least its still warm:)))
Susan, thanks for comments, boiler half done, it is changing to a combi, so tank gone from airing cupboard and tank in loft and pump etc. Got cold water at moment but men have just arrived - will be finished today PHEW
Afternoon all papercafters, phew, thanks Steph, work all done, father and son worked like navvies, started Thursday 1pm and finished Friday 2pm. Very happy. Hope your roof gets done soon
