Thought we would start this week off with autumn. We are surrounded by trees and are gathering leaves daily. I love it when it is dry and sunny and the leaves are swirling about.
Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend. I just love Autumn colours. I’ve just come back from the New Forest, and the trees are turning beautiful colours there.
Autumn is such a gorgeous time of year - I do think the leaves in my garden are much brighter than usual, maybe to do with the heat in the summer? I have a viburnum opulus Guelder rose which normally has some flecks of burgundy in it before the leaves fall in autumn but this year it is really rich in colour - gorgeous!!
I listed this card yesterday, which has nice golds in it, probably the nearest I have at the mo to a new autumnal coloured card:
A lovely day again spent the morning with a friend, cuppa and natter, then after lunch went to help some older friends who are not able at the moment to keep up with the garden, so I and my OH gave them a couple of hours weeding. Very therapeutic and good that we were helping those out that needed a little bit.
I agree with Heidi @HeidiMeier, I think all the leaves are a much nicer colour and lovely when they are dry to brush up

Hey ladies - you have all inspired me this morning to do something which was NOT on my to do list (typical side tracking lol) and I have written a blog on Handcrafted Cards featuring all your lovely cards. Hope this is okay - ideally I would like to do this far more often but I admit it was Brenda’s card which inspired me (although in the end I chose one of your paintings cards lol).
