Sending best wishes to those that are under the weather/struggling. Look after yourselves! I am struggling with the gloomy weather and chronic pain at the moment. I find the daily visit to this thread has been a welcome routine in this difficult season.

Having some tech issues with the new job – they got me a loaner laptop and the darn thing keeps crashing 
Will probably have to go back into the office on Thursday to hopefully exchange it for one that works eh - it’s a pain - but a minor one – once we get this sorted – it will all be golden …

Worst of the storm seems to have passed here now and I may have to venture out to reclaim our food waste bin, as I think it has blown away! Hope you are all safe and dry, and that you haven’t been washed away Hilary @kokoblue

I agree, Hilary @kokoblue the water level is ridiculous. The harbour is currently emptying itself into the town. Hoping I’ll get home from work! Fingers crossed that our burn isn’t too high.

Afternoon all, very dark and windy here today.
I’m supposed to be decorating the Christmas tree at the moment, but I woke up with a headache and the sads. Christmas is hard now all my family are gone, and this year we have Matt’s mum in the middle of chemo. And we’re absolutely flat broke so we’ve had to drop almost all our traditional stuff. Both our birthdays are in the couple of weeks after Christmas (Matt’s before New Year and mine after). It’s just a tough time.
Anyway, moping aside, here’s a nice bight bracelet to cut through the gloom.

I’m totally fed up now as well as the never ending cough, I have a UTI so on antibiotics for the next few days. Maybe they’ll fix the cough too

Good Afternoon, a little late today, i finished work at 1.30 and fell asleep, im really struggling with SAD at the moment, and am very down in the dumps, work is far too busy and its lonely in the office by myself trying to do everything everything seems urgent, Im sending love to everyone on here that is struggling and I know im not alone, im crying at the drop of a hat which is a tell tale sign of SAD, get well soon to everyone who is feeling rubbish. Here is a listing for today.

We’re in a bit of a state here, the power cable at the end of our garden caught fire due to trees hitting it and now we have no power. The fire has gone out but the fire brigade are supposed to be on their way as a precaution plus national grid but the flood route is flooded so who knows how they’ll get here! I definitely need to move! Anybody want a lovely rural property in Wales
