Can I kindly ask you to take a look at my shop and drop a bomb of me of what I can do better? ;D
I am ready for anything you have to say. Just a note wall art with wax melts was my very first listing and I know it is confusing as it has too many options to choose from but what about the others? Do you like them?
I think you need more listings, so that your shop looks full.
One of your photos has words that are partially cut off and the product isn’t very clear - maybe you need to create more of a bathroom/spa type setting for your pictures.
Your ‘about me’ section sounds a bit too ‘chatty’ - too much information in certain parts and not enough information about your products.
I agree with @MaisyMuffin, especially about the extra information.
Something that would turn me off as a buyer: there’s an awful lot of packaging for a very small product. These days, a lot of buyers are very enviromentally conscious.
Hi
Just one immediate observation. I looked at your set of 4 relxation wax melts. You are charging £3 with free FOC. Out of that £3 you are going to pay Folksy listing fee of 20p for each one of the 5 you’ve listed every 4 months (so if for example you don’t sell some for for 6 months that will be 40p for those). You will pay Sales fee of 6% plus VAT on the sale price (which includes your postage) and you will be paying Paypal fees too.
If you add to that packaging (those boxes are surely not free to you) and your material costs. and the actual postage… can you really afford to sell at that.
Good luck anyway xx
PS Something else just struck me, sorry, but have you worked out how you will post these.
If your package is any thicker than 2.5 cms (1 inch) you will have to pay small package which is now £3.00 minimum, 2nd class. If you can get away with large letter it will cost you £1.06 first class or 83p 2nd but note 1 inch is not at all thick once you have something solid in an envelope…
