Hi, I wonder if you can help please.
I have bought some lovely velvet style cushions that I wanted to print my designs onto and offer my customers a christmas range.
Cushions is a totally new area to me.
The question I have is, I will be selling the cushions covers only but the covers themselves do not have any labels in them.
I have asked the supplier what they are made of but I am yet to hear back.
Can you sell with no labels or do they need labels showing material, washing, ( fire safe)

Does this mean then for example I had a cushion cover that already had the label in containing fibre content, once I add the vinyl I have therefore changed the product so would I then need to add a label showing the vinyl details?

Hi Natalie, yes I assume so. It would be best to check with Trading Standards.
I would also recommend that you do not make floor cushions or cushions over 50cm because they come under soft furnishings fire regulations, which are way too complicated for little makers like us.
