Morning all.
Another gorgeous sunny day here.
An old art college friend has come down to stay near Tintagel , so we are off out to see her this evening. Really looking forward to it.
Beautiful necklace Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery
Dropped my laptop on my foot last night, a few choice words said and now hobbling a bit! Off out with a friend for a walk today so hoping it wonāt be too sore!! Hoping to find a nice pub for a bite to eat too.
Well done Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio on your Owl adventure..what a hoot.
I have a friend coming todayā¦she has always done craft fairs but after emergency surgery, she has evaluated her life and decided to join Folksy, so I am hoping to show her the ropes and give her some hints and tipsā¦watch this spaceā¦xx
It will get better, it needs its time to heal, but obviously very sensitive part. Have you been given any medication? I have been having perforated ear drums (both ears) since I was a child due to severe chronic otitis, both ears operated but one of them still gets infected very easily (air-condition is a killer, water in the ears is forbidden, the cold weather a nightmare!), so every so often the story repeats⦠a hole appears, the discharge starts, antibiotics are my best friend⦠I hope itās not painful for you, and you donāt get any dizziness either x
Good morningā¦I sympathise with those of you struggling with hay feverā¦I used to have some soft of allergies years ago and no GP was able to determine what they were caused from. I no longer suffer which is huge relief!
A relist from me todayā¦a floral wreath to match the flowery scenery around nowā¦
Morning all. Pipe mended and invoice received
Itās nice to be back here. I havenāt joined in since mid December and Iāve only made one sale so far this year which is a bit disastrous.
Today itās some fruit and veg bags to use when youāre shopping.
Hi Mina @theslothscavern, gosh it sounds like your ears are a nightmare, you poor thing. You donāt realise how much you rely on your hearing do you? My husband is fed up with me saying I canāt hear you every few minutes . No I havenāt been given anything yet, the GP took swabs as there were white spots on my eardrum so Iām waiting for the results. Yes I am a bit dizzy which isnāt helpful and my ear feels like itās full of water and my heads in a goldfish bowl which itās not . Urgh, I hope it improves soon.
I hope you get sorted soon, if you get medication it will help straight away, but either way, you will appreciate it when itās all back to normal, I tell you that
Lots of sympathy, Mina @theslothscavern and Hilary @kokoblue. I have been totally deaf in one ear since birth, and hard of hearing in the other, so I donāt rely on hearing! I have Menieres, so am permanently unbalanced - a pretty fair description of me, according to my other half! X
All loved to here and another new listing: Monster drawstring bags
Oh Goodnessā¦all these ear problems.
I had an ear infection about 12 years ago and now that same ear struggles to hear anything and I have to be careful if I turn round quickly.
I canāt seem to access my photos to do a new listing at the moment and my IT department has taken his car to get a new windscreen so just a relist today.
Morning everyone - another glorious day here - so blessed
Welcome to the thread Gill @gillsgems - Iām fairly new to this too!
