OMG two orders within an hour of each other! @Fififoxi One was as a result of an email sent out yesterday by folksy, subject Dark Arcademia. I had to look that up, never heard of it! Anyway, firstly I noticed my stats went mad and then an order popped in! Thank you muchly @Folksyadmin

So here is my newly relisted Classic Literature Journal, in the subject of Dark Arcademia!

Super wedding pics!

I think I must be missing some Folksy emails as I haven’t received the “dark academia” one. Will have to look into it.

Back later with a listing, having a disorganised start to the week.

Good morning everyone I’m back again after a horrible few days with the recurring infection that I get in my parotid gland. It is so painful for about 3 or 4 weeks but really bad for the first 6 or 7 days. Hopefully it is on the way out now. Will try to keep up this week.
I’m loving all the wedding photos, don’t you all look so lovely. You really all are so clever the ones of you who made your own dresses. Brian & I were married on 19th December 1970 so it’ll be 54 years this year. He really deserves a medal. My dress was bought from a shop in Canterbury for £29-10/6 (isn’t it strange I can’t remember how we used to write money now). We happened to be the 100th couple in the year who order flowers from our local florist so had our flowers half price, cost £19. My sister in law made my bridesmaids dresses. My photo is below it’s not very big.
Today I have a seaside themed necklace and earrings set with turtles and starfish

Morning all

Another hot day today. Loving all your wedding photos - very impressed that so many of you made your own dresses/trousers! I didn’t make my dress but maybe you want to have a look at my photo? It was 2003 and we got married in New Zealand, where I’m from (it was cheaper to get married there even with flights - at the time). I wish I was that slim now!

I have a fern print card today:

All these wonderful photographs today so I thought I’d share a card I’ve just added to my shop, perfect for a wedding or anniversary.

Apologies for going AWOL this weekend, it was a busy one not helped by an intermittent internet.

There are some lovely things here at the moment and some very clever crafters… I am loving the wedding photos, I will have to dig out mine!

Here is another craft supply, Apricot this time…

Below is a picture from our wedding… a little grainy as it is behind plastic in an album… I made my dress and My husbands waistcoat… I made the mistake of letting him choose the fabric and he chose the most expensive I have ever worked with… I made so many practise pockets before cutting into the material and I still occasionally come across one!!!

Good Afternoon,

All of these wedding photos are fantastic. I’m so impressed with those who made their own beautiful dresses. If I can reattach an errand button with a safety pin, then I will. I admit that is pure laziness. I left my wedding dress to the experts in the shop :joy:
The dress looks white, but it’s actually ivory. Smiles look a bit faded as we cut the cake, but our cheeks were aching by then :joy: June 1992 which only feels like a couple of years ago

No listing today. I’ve been (foolishly) cleaning and have run out of steam. I need to hold back on making because I’m going to disappear under a mountain of stuff!

Have a lovely day, all and keep cool:smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Such wonderful wedding pictures. And such clever people making dresses and accessories. Typical 1980’s meringue for me. We look so young! My parents were younger then than we are now…
