Good morning everyone. I slept a bit better last night as the wind had died down a bit. Still under an amber warning for wind but hopefully the worst has past. Stay safe everyone if you are still experiencing the effects of the storm.

Beautiful day here too. Sunny, cold and DRY.
The village was under 2 feet of water, and the sea invaded people’s driveways, but all is dry now.
Found one of my crocs that went on an adventure, the other may be long gone, but who knows. Today’s plan is to scrape (a lot) of mud and debris out of the garage (could have been worse, but the septic tank held fast).
Luckily, Mel @aquilacrafts the bridge is access to our garden, so fortunately we can get on and off the drive OK. I need to re-level and grout some of the paviots, but that’s OK.
Glad you’re all OK after the storm. Maybe your builder’s bag could become an art installation, Brenda? @teabreaks Chuck a few more bits up there, bit of spray paint on the tree and call it Darragh. Then charge an admission fee…

Love the idea of an art installation Georgia @GeorginaCrawfordArt, I can just see Brenda @teacups doing that. I’m glad your house escaped the worse of the weather.
We are also doing Xmas decorations Corinne @WonkyTowersCrafts - just as soon as I’ve finished tidying the sewing room so I can get into the attic. It made me laugh when the insurance company I must agree to tidy my craft space every day - they must have seen how I work:face_with_peeking_eye:

Morning, well I lost half my garden fence yesterday afternoon, the other half went last year so should have expected it.
Means spending more money to fix it but at least no-one is hurt so not really grumpy today.
Todays listing is a new pair of fingerless gloves, slightly longer than the normal ones I do

Lots of trees down and power cuts here, luckily we still have our power, neighbours have been bringing ice packs to put in our freezer as apparently it could be 8 tonight before theirs can be fixed. Husband has gone out with chainsaw to try and cut a route into town and check up on neighbours.
Glad the water has subsided quickly @GeorginaCrawfordArt that must have been quite alarming.

Just a quick re-list today, the wind has eventually died down so Hubby is going out with the chainsaw… at least two trees are down (one on the house!) but hopefully no damage.
Good luck with fairs I hope they go well, and good luck with clean ups for those clearing up after the storm…
