Thanks for the info Mina @theslothscavern . The ones I saw were four of the same seller on the same page or the next and some pages had two or so sellers with four items on one page, so that way you have less chance of being seen in the first few pages. I guess they thought that was reasonable.
Congratulations on your sale Judith @judyrowleyart and to Sue @Susieshackletontextiles and Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery for making the best sellers list. Happy dancing all round ![]()
Yes I had 4 items at the end but all together on page 12 Judy @judyrowleyart! Perhaps itās something we could ask them to change next time they do an event if they can to make it a bit fairer.
Hello,
What a glorious day - Iāve been doing some gardening so only managing a relist. Just eaten my lunch outside in the sun, the birds are singing and there are bees buzzing about the viburnham.
Congratulations on appearing on the best seller list Sue @Susieshackletontextiles and Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery
Thanks for the lovely review Nikki @GlintBeads
Right, back to the weedsā¦
That sounds like the perfect morning Mel ![]()
Did you relist your items when you edited them for the sale? I think this might have moved mine forward, I canāt be sure though.
When I first edited my 4 items they were spread out, once I relisted them , they were all grouped together near the front.
It was heaven ![]()

@kokoblue The event pages arenāt usually random, theyāre ordered by recency of listing, so if you relist an item thatās in the event then itāll move to the first page (although there might be a little delay as the event pages are updated once an hour).
Itās the sections on the homepage that are usually randomised. Thatās easy to set up because it just brings up a few items from a certain page, but once you click through to the full page youāll find the items are ordered (again usually by recency) and donāt change on refresh. This is because the items have to be ordered somehow when weāre showing the full results. If it constantly gave a random result, once you click through to the second page of results it might show some items that youād already seen on the first page, and youād never be sure if you had seen all the results because every time you move to the next page itād be a new random selection. Itād be really frustrating as a buyer, and particularly if you spotted something you wanted to go back to and then couldnāt find it again.
Thatās really helpful Kim @kimfolksy, thank you. That all makes complete sense and Iāll know next time what I need to do, that is if my old brain remembers
.
Afternoon all,
Lovely sunshine! ![]()
Congratulations @Susieshackletontextiles and @DeborahJonesJewellery for your appearances on the best seller list ![]()
Youāre welcomeMel @aquilacrafts ![]()
Good afternoon everyone - Iām late on parade today but hereās my post. Thanks
Re-list today, sorry itās late.
What a beautiful day. Done lots of jobs in the garden but maybe a bit early for some of the things Iāve done. Spring tends to be a bit later in Scotland
A little sale purse today
Valerie
Hope all well with you all, thank you Liz @samazama and Hilary @kokoblue for reccomending my shop. Has anyone posted the join up form for next month, I am hoping to join in again as have just found someone else to take over my mucking out duties! Happy Days hope to catch up with you all again soon ![]()
I was just wondering who is doing next month then realised itās me!!! Will do the invite shortly ![]()
Ok itās there now - Iāve woken up and Iām ready to host!
mel @aquilacrafts ā¦lolol xx
Evening all, itās gotten chilly again, sitting here freezing while catching up. May have a bath later to warm up.
New listing to share, another wee pocket hug;
Thanks for thinking of me Hilary
Iām ok but still being limited by my horrendous cough. Current consensus from my ENT consultant and my Respiratory consultant (who I saw today) is that I have silent reflux (acid reflux but with no symptoms such as heartburn, so youāre unaware itās even happening). Apparently my voice box is inflamed which indicates acid reflux is damaging my throat and causing the cough. Respiratory consultant has ruled out pulmonary fibrosis and COPD, but wants to do some tests for asthma (although neither she nor I think itās asthma).
Iāve been making a few bits and have loads of unlisted stock from last year to get into my shop, so Iām hoping to join in next month, all being well xx
