Daily Listing Challenge and Group Promotion thread - June 2024

Morning everyone! Dull but mild here today. Started the day off by standing on a pigeon poo and bringing it back in with me, so I suppose cleaning is first on the list today!

Good morning everyone!
Happy to see the sun for a change this morning, and as for many of you, this week is going to be a busy one!
My listing for today is another nautical themed card, think I’m near the end of this collection now, I certainly made the most of it!

Mornin’ everyone. A busy week here too. We have the church Monday Club (a sort of friendship club) visiting our garden later and I said I’d give them tea. So after this I am off to make sure that the garden and house are presentable and to make some sandwiches and scones. Thankfully it looks as if the weather will be dry for them, although the garden is a bit soggy underfoot.

A letter opener today.

Good morning. No sunshine here. Just off to do my stint in the gallery.
A lovely little dogs cushion today. The Jack Russell looks just like our little Mela.

Good morning everyone. Looks like we are in for a good week so I will start it by patching our garden umbrella with some denim embroidered patches to cover the hole chewed in it by a mouse over the winter - never thought I would write that sentence!

I have an upcycled box lid collage trinket/pin tray today (never thought I would write that sentence either😂)

Phew finally caught up on the last 4 days!

The news from my end is good - Dad is still in hospital and poorly but much better. Ironically he was due to come home last Thursday as the effects of the stroke were really minor but just before he came out of hospital he collapsed with a raging lung infection which has really knocked him for six. He was very very poorly for a day or two but now he is back on the road to recovery and with luck will be out of hospital in a week or thereabouts. At the moment he is very chipper so all is looking good (fingers crossed).

I’ll be keeping my shop closed for the next week or so but will be dipping in and out of the thread as and when.

Hope you get some positive news re your chest infection Joss @XStitcherJoss and I am glad your back is a little better Carol @Knittingtopia.

A big thanks to Ali @Craftyali1 for all the useful info - I’m not great at social media but your suggestions make it a lot of sense and I shall be putting them into practice in due course.

Have a great week ‘fellow Folksters’!
