Realise I was over ambitious aiming to get a new item finished, photographed and listed today. Forgot about the dentist and hygenist appointment , and the burglar alarm service man coming. He always has to pull the bed out to check a panic button behind it, so we get him to leave it, and then give a once a year hoover behind the bed before we push it back. Do I get another Welsh cake on the naughty step for mentioning “hoover”?

Just caught up with news, I started what I thought would be a quick job first thing this morning, moving and reorganising my stock. I still haven’t finished, so my “quick” job has taken me 8 hours up to now, and I’ve managed to create even more jobs since I found quite a few things that I hadn’t listed yet. I’m regretting starting it, but it did need doing.
I’m sorry to hear that you are still not well Hilary @kokoblue . I hope your GP can help without you having to be admitted to hospital again. Sending you hugs.

Been busy with housework and agility which although dry in the barn, was absolutely baltic! Youngest son rang in his lunch break too which was brilliant. He’s coming home for the weekend on Friday and I’m really looking forward to seeing him.

I am sure one’s imagination could go into overdrive, but it is quite simply because it was there as part of the burglar alarm system when we moved in 35 years ago, and is still there now. Never been used, well only accidently when I knocked it once trying to reach something I’d dropped, but it gets checked once a year without fail when they service the alarm.
Oh poor doggy ! That used to happen to our King Charles Cavvy boy Charlie - we used to call them ‘pobbles’. He had to stand in a lukewarm bath to get rid of them .

Hope you were able to get help from GP Hilary @kokoblue and are soon feeling well again. I was in bed super early last night after flu jab, felt awful. Feeling headachy today but have to head into the office for meetings and the car is frozen solid with a light dusting of snow as well I think gonna be a cold start to the day. So I now know at least my two girls are coming for Christmas this year not sure about the boys. And having got rid of two of our chairs this year I dont know if we can accommodate them anyway. One of my daughters has been coming on boxing day for years which is fine by us, infact there was a time when some of them worked Christmas day for the extra money but never Boxing day. Now at least I can order enough food for one day.

I finally got my phone call from the pharmacist, quickly followed by the doctor, meds now picked up. They were both so lovely I couldn’t be annoyed at waiting in all day.
Thought all the snow might have stopped us getting to our daughters to babysit yesterday but the roads cleared in time. It’s sounding worryingly crunchy out there this morning though.

Good morning all, woke up to a power cut and minus 5 temperature brrr.
Thank you for all your best wishes, it’s so lovely to be part of such a caring group. The GP was amazing and so caring, she gave me some more stuff to get things moving and let’s just say its started to work ….at one point yesterday evening David asked if there was thunder and I said no that’s just my insides . Not much sleep due to the frequent toilet visits but at least we’re on the right track thank goodness. I can’t wait to be able to visit the naughty step, I’m desperate for cake!
I hope you IBS is settling Caroline @Caroleecrafts and that you’re more comfortable.
