Good morning. Still climbing the hill to recovery but getting there slowly.
Haven’t got a lot of new items made to share this month but am hoping to offload some old stock so may make up some new listings for that later.
For now, here is one of my new makes to replace one that sold
Thank you for looking after us last month Liz @PatchworkPackages and for taking over this month Alison @FluffStuffCrafts - fingers crossed it’s a busy dancing month for you.
I have another Christmas card today - I’m trying to get them all listed while the Shop Early event is running.
Afternoon all,
Thank you for picking up the reins for October, Alison @FluffStuffCrafts - hope the sales pick up too!
No air fryer here (yet), I’m another who hates stuff on the worktops. I do love my slow cooker though, especially as it lives in a cupboard!
Welcome back to those who skipped last month - good to see you all again x
Better get my Christmas lines sorted for the event:
Welcome to the challenge Saif @pongis. If you have any questions, just ask and someone will be able to help you out.
I like your optimism Sarah @dotterypottery and your sense of humour MIna @theslothscavern
Pauline, the Shop Early event is similar to the one they did last year, but instead of just a weekend, they are running it over the whole month.
Anything in your shop that could be a Christmas gift, decoration, gift wrapping or cards can be tagged with shopearly2024 and the top three in your shop will be pulled into the guide on the front page, so it’s worth rearranging your items in shopkeeping, so the same three items aren’t being shown for the whole month.
Thank you Judy @judyrowleyart and Alison @FluffStuffCrafts for info about the Shop Early event. I’ll go through my shops and update some listings.
Today I have a baby’s 5 piece outfit for a baby boy or girl
So if you put sloppy things in like pasta bakes does it need to be in a container to keep it contained? I’m not sure I even have any containers that would fit into the 2 litre one.
welcome to the thread Saif @pongis …remember that this is a challenge thread …with the rules at the top of the page…we look forward to seeing your daily listing …
Sue Trevor @SueTrevor I have a couple of small containers, but if I am stuck then I make my own little trays from tin foil and then throw it away after use x
Thank you Alison @FluffStuffCrafts for taking over for October and thank you Liz @PatchworkPackages for taking charge during September. What new dance steps do I need to learn for October (I hope!)? Pinch and a punch everyone.
We don’t have an air fryer, and I really don’t want one. My kitchen tops are far too small as it is, and the cupboard space is too small as well, so where would we put it? This house is lovely and spacious - except the kitchen. And since I’ve managed perfectly well for fifty odd years of marriage without one, why bother?
Today’s listing looks very like another you’ve seen recently, but it is different, honestly. Reindeer for a three year old
Sue @SueTrevor, my air fryer has a container like a casserole dish that everything goes in. You add ones with holes and wire racks to this. I think they’re all different.
I love my air fryer, it’s cooking crispy potatoes as we speak. Sue @SueTrevor we had a little one at first and you can use silicone trays and pots in there. We recently upgraded to a Ninja combined slow cooker, air fryer and pressure cooker which was great for space as I got rid (well put in the loft!) my crockpot and pressure cooker. Our daughter had the mini air fryer for the caravan a favourite is haloumi as it stays nice a juicy in the middle and golden on the outide
Thank you for taking over October Alison @FluffStuffCrafts
Interesting to hear opinions on an airfryer. I don’t have one yet, but everybody I know who has one, loves it. I’ll get one after we move and get settled because we just don’t have space for too much stuff. Poor Bloke got an eyeroll a few weeks ago when he bought a huge mega-bag of pasta I did enjoy the A****n comment
Weather is absolutely filthy here. It started at agility and just has got heavier as the day has gone on.
Had a very unpleasant conversation at agility with someone who demanded to know if the Werewolf was neutered or not and proceeded to lecture me when I said he isn’t. I’m very much a live and let live type of person and so long as no harm is being done, I’m happy. Pros and cons were discussed with my vet and we’re happy at the moment with him intact. I did say that I respect the decisions of others and I expect the same in return. Then just had to walk away.
That is awful Rosy, none of our 3 Goldens were done. Mainly because they are notoriously difficult to breed. The vet told us providing they are loved they will not need to be done. Up to you what you do providing they do not worry other dogs. Ours always used to lay down if any female showed and interest and looked terrified.
