Dashboard not working

(Jennifer Combes) #1

Hi

I am assuming this might be to do with the new shop feature tweaking? But just in case it is a separate issue I cannot get access to my orders or dashboard.

It says there is a heavy-load - or perhaps so many people are trying to see my products I just crashed the whole of folksy! lol maybe not…

has the layout on the main folksy page been changed also ? mine looks different.

(Dawn Sneesby) #3

Yes I’m getting the same message, probably is to do with the new feature.

(Rachel) #4

Some people are failing to get on here, ie Brenda @teabreaks could someone from @folksycontent please check it out we are all getting the following message

#5

I can’t access folksy either

(Roz) #6

… and me :frowning:

(Eileens Craft Studio) #7

I got to the front page of my shop but this is what I got when I clicked on Dashboard

This website is under heavy load

We’re sorry, too many people are accessing this website at the same time. We’re working on this problem. Please try again later.

(Eileens Craft Studio) #8

I also get the same message if I click on any item in my shop front

(Diane Burton) #9

Yes I’m getting that message Rachel :frowning:

(Roz) #10

Well Camilla @folksycontent did ask us to try and break it - looks like we succeeded!

(Eileens Craft Studio) #11

yep Foksy is broken as even logged out and in another browser folksy comes up search works but as soon as you click on an item in the search in order to find out more about the item you get the same message.

This is what anyone will be getting a broken link.
Admin@folky, Sian@folksy please the site is down no potential customers can click through to any item in any shop and we sellers can’t get to our dashboards.

Both sellers and potential buyers are getting this message

(Amberlilly) #12

Lol! Heavy load, that’s funny! I was already on my shop but then clicked on something else and got the same message. Hey! Do you think we’ve been found and will get a sudden surge in sales? !!!

(Dawn Sneesby) #13

Yeah wouldn’t that be great Amberlilly!!!

(Diane Burton) #14

Just put a post on Folksy’s FB page hopefully they’ll see it, just hoping that they haven’t all gone home at 5pm :worried:

(Little Ramstudio) #15

Same here.
Anyone called @dougfolksy to get his spanners out!

(Sara Leigh Thornton) #16

I can get as far as logging in, so I can see my sales figure has gone up (yay!) but can;t see what I’ve sold (boo!). Now I’ll have to open my email to find out - I much prefer the excitement of looking on my dashboard.

(Amberlilly) #17

How brilliant!!!

(Camilla) #18

Doug has indeed got his spanners out @littleRamstudio!

Sorry everyone. He’s currently boosting the number of servers – apparently that should fix it, so fingers crossed we get it sorted soon.

(Christine E.) #19

I just tried to list something, got the “heavy load, try again later” message, and when I went back to my listing, a lot of it (like my photos) had disappeared! Not happy!

(Camilla) #20

Sorry Christine. The site is having real problems just now, but Doug’s working to fix it and we’ll hopefully have it back to normal soon.
