I am not sure if I am allowed to promote this here so please let me know if there are restrictions or if there are different categories I should be writing this on.
I am new to Folksy. I opened my shop about three months ago and I currently have a discount for all new buyer which runs until the end of July 2025. The discount is 6% on all purchases with the use of discount code at the checkout. You’ll find the code in my Shop Announcements.
Hi Iwona, yes you can promote your discount in the Forum. Most people do it within the Showcase category, so I’ve moved it over there for you.
Here’s a screenshot of the pinned post in Showcase, which gives some helpful hints.
If you are not already on the public facing Folksy Facebook groups, you may want to join as you can share things there too. Just to note, they are not official run by Folksy
There is also the Folksy Clubhouse - but that is a support network for sellers, so don’t use it for promotion.
