Engraving machine for sale

Hello all.
I hope this is allowed.
I bought an engraving machine during lockdown and it’s been an absolutely brilliant way to add an extra personal touch to my handmade jewellery.
This is the one:

(It is NOT a laser engraver but one that engraves with a diamond tip.)
I have now decided to upgrade to a machine that can also cut - I’m addicted to new gadgets.
So I am selling this one. It is out of warranty but in pristine condition. Cookson charge £5,500 for a new one - I would be happy with £3,500 when it goes to a fellow Folksy seller.

If anyone is interested I can sell this via Folksy in Supplies, so that Folksy also gets a share.
Do let me know.
:o)

Hi Nana where are you based?

HI Max
I’m in Sheffield, but I can send the machine via DPD. It weights something like 25 kgs!
:o)

Ah that’s a long way from where I am sadly, I have considered buying an engraving machine for a while but it’s a huge investment for me so I would have like to see it in person and haven’t really done much research to know excatly what I want. I’m sure someone who knows exactly what they want already would snap your hand off though, I’m a real novice with using tech for jewellery making. There is a FB group where you might find interest UK Silversmithing Tools Sales, Swap, Destash & Network it’s a busy group so you might want to share it there
best wishes and is your jewellery is fabulous!

Ah, shame. I would be happy to show you around the machine.
The tech side can be a time-swallower for sure.
Cookson does free online demos for this machine if you want to get a feel for what engravers can do.

I’ll try that FB group, thanks for the tip.
Your jewellery looks amazing! I’ve been shying away from enamelling, but it looks so pretty with that extra pop of colour.

Hi Nana
Is your engraving machine still for sale?
I had the same one in my shop and sadly it was stolen.
I’m not too far from you - I went to SHU so know sheffield pretty well.

Thanks!

Hi Marlene
It’s long gone, I’m afraid.
I’m sorry to hear yours was stolen. They probably don’t even know how to use it.
