I have been to an old junk shop today and there in the corner, much unloved was an old sewing machine. I know there has been some mention of people wanting these so I asked about the price. Its £25 and if anyone was interested I could get it for you if you could arrange a courier?
The chap stated it was in full working order.

they are lovely but DH would not like a 5 singer in the house as we’ve no more room more’s the pity

Wow what a bargain, my first machine was a singer, but you had to turn the wheel by hand, (OLD) lol
