Tried to post a small parcel today through EVRI as usual however their parcel rate has increased from 3.30 ish to over 5 pounds! Sent it via Rital Mail, £3.45.
Just out of interest, where was it going
I never use Evri and groan when I get a dispatch note saying someone I bought something from is sending it via them, so don’t know about any possible price hikes, but I believe they do have some different rates for different areas (hence Steve’s question I think).

I have no idea about Evri rates as I always send Royal Mail, only because I am used to their online system and am too lazy to deal with another one.
I am ok (for now) receiving goods from Evri as our courier is fantastic, she gets to know everyone’s names and knows where to leave items if I am not around. Worth her weight in gold!
Up north, Scotland area, tried again with local postcode and usual cost? I used Royal Mail and will now use them as preferred carriers even though a bit bearer. I started with EVRI as they had a number of parcel drop sites which were convenient for posting when PO closed but these have now disappeared
Thought so, it’s not very clear on their website that they charge more for the nort of Scotland and Highlands, and other out of the way places. Royal Mail charge a flat rate for all areas of the UK. Our Evri courier is okay, so I don’t mind if they are used, it really depends on the individual courier, so I can see why some people can’t stand them.
