I use a pair of heavy dressmaking shears that I’ve had for many years. They’re made by Taylor’s of Sheffield and I never ever use them for cutting paper or anything other than fabric, as that blunts them very quickly. I have thought about getting a rotary cutter instead, as they are more accurate when cutting through several layers of fabric, but I’m so used to my shears now, I’m not sure I could change!
