Just had pancakes for tea. For the last 30+ years I have used my bero recipe but as Mary Berrys Yorkshire Pudding recipes are the best decided to try her pancake recipe. They were yummy.
Passing them around to those who want one.
mm sounds delish Anita, had to choose today pancakes or Welsh cakes, Welsh cakes won
Evening
Happy St Davidâs Day and pancake day.
Thank you Max @MaxPringJewellery for taking the reins and to Natalie @NOfkantsCurios for last month. Donât know how you both manage everything, def superwomen
Brenda @teabreaks - glad you have bounced back, as everyone here has said, your work is lovely and original, donât let one bad bit of feedback get you down. But I do understand, I had one too a while back and totally depressed me.
Here is a daffodil card to celebrate today
Carol xx
thank you AndreaâŠeveryone is SO lovelyâŠxxx
Four more sales please MaxâŠ( total now 12 ) xx
Max @MaxPringJewellery that is awful and such a waste of good earringsâŠwhy are some people so horrid.
I am not usually miffed like this but I think that lockdown, not going anywhere for over two years and having to cope on my ownâŠsuddenly caught up with me.
I know it has been 4 years since Ted died but I was the strong one who held everyone together and just got on with thingsâŠthen lockdown on top of itâŠhaving to suddenly deal with house repairs, broken fences, a dangerous gas leak and fighting with the local farmer because he has left us with a broken fence now for over a yearâŠall piled upâŠthe straw that broke the camelâs back and all thatâŠ
It is thanks to this group that I am picking myself up. I hate people who moan and have a sob story tooâŠaaarghâŠI joined the clanâŠ
Big hugs to you allâŠxxxx
Oh and MaxâŠI havenât heard of Callanetics for yearsâŠI have a book somewhereâŠisnât it Bum squeezing?..lol
I have just caught up with all the news, and will (belated) add my support for all your lovely work, Brenda.
I am officially coining the euphemism âfriends of Putinâ for such soulless beings.
Thanks for looking after us for February Natalie @NOfkantsCurios. Thanks for taking over for March Max @MaxPringJewellery.
Welcome @Oldtoyknittingshop and @MadeByBirds.
A relist pulled out from the items that got overlooked when I was having fun in Tenerife -
I did actually get a sale yesterday! But it was from a friend, and it was February then.
Selling things to people you donât know feels more important doesnât it?
But lets start March with a star anyway
Thank you for welcoming us, look forward to seeing more of all of your items this month
Hi and lovely to see you on here, Iâm quite new but loving my fellow Folksy sellers who have been so welcoming. Beautiful blanket and colours
Evening Folksy folks.
Massive hug for Brenda @teabreaks
Iâm late to the party today as we have Millieâs sister, Nala, staying with us for a few days, so itâs complete chaos! Nala is a lovely, sweet, calm little thing but Millie is really naughty and terrorises her This was them this afternoon. Nala is at the front and Millie at the back.
I took some photos today but have a lot of editing to do and listings to write, so Iâm relisting this which Iâve reduced and put into my SALE collection
They are both gorgeous Helen @PocketfulCreations xx
All loved and pinned to here.
@teabreaks What can I say Brenda? There are same strange and nasty people out there and itâs easy to forget that the majority of people are nice. Look at your amazing reviews. Your work is loved. Try not to dwell on the negative. Easier said than done I know.
@GrannysHandknits ÂŁ2 too much expensive? We donât pay ourselves an hourly rate but sometimes I think people should be told the amount of time it takes to knit something. Some people are idiots.
@MaxPringJewellery as for yours Max, they just proved my point.
Cake all round tomorrow!
Iâm sure Millie couldnât possibly be naughty - look at that innocent little face.
Theyâre both gorgeous.
Morning all
Wall to wall rain again today and think something else slipped off the roof yesterday. Will have to don some wellies and walk down the bottom of the garden as not the front. Got soaked walking to the end of the drive to have a look could not be asked to go out the back.
Lavender tea sachet and spoon ideal for someone under the weather.
Good morning all, happy danicng for your sales Brenda @teabreaks and there was one for me too whoop!
wall to wall rain here too Caroline @Caroleecrafts but I wonât see much of it except a lunchtime walk as itâs a regular old work day for me I have a traiig course this morning then a meeting this afternoon so Iâll be back after work to catch up, have a good day everyone x
Morning everyone. Hope everyone enjoyed their pancakes yesterday. This lovely bowl has just been added to our shop and I have to say, itâs my favourite. I have favourited everyone so far but unfortunately, Iâm off to work now will catch up when I get home. x
Well as usual we got our dates wrong. Why on earth didnât we show our Llewellyn Goch welsh dragon yesterday for St Davids Day.One day late but with the same good wishes.Feeling a bit heavy today after four pancakes.Starting Lent today by giving up biscuits. Husband has hidden the biscuit tin and I have 40 days to find it.Stunned by The Feminine Touch Designs beautiful cards (we have just purchased one) and Grannys Handknits. The Sailboat jumper and Bright Flower jumper just shout Spring is coming. Georgina and I are wandering through Folksy in awe.
Have a good day all and keep those creative juices flowing.
