Folksy 365 Daily Listing and Group Promotion Thread - July 2023 we

Busy morning as I need to tidy the house before visitors arrive! So here’s a quick relist that needs some love. It’s in my sale as I am beginning to regret the colour! Will be back to do lots of liking and loving later. Have a good day everyone.

Morning and happy Monday!

Busy day with a toddler ahead. I’ve been feeling out of sorts and just not well so full days with her are taking it out of me but she’s growing up so quickly :sob:

Off to do a house viewing this afternoon too, :crossed_fingers:t3: we have quite a few lined up as finally managed to sell the inherited family house after my partners parents. I think just juggling too much recently and I’m so ran down.

Anyways, let me share my finally finished macrame backpack. It’s taken way too long to put it all together but it’s here. The beautiful insert (liner) bag was made by Mel @aquilacrafts and I think it definitely makes the bag extra special!

Good morning everyone. Congratulations to those who’ve had sales so far this month. We’re going to be taking it easy today to recover after 5 full on days of our lovely grandchildren!

Have a good day all.

Thank you Zuzana. I find the house too large to do all of it, we do upstairs one week and downstairs the next. Do hint to DH that we should downsize but whilst we have a dog not going to happen.

Congrats to those who have achieved sales so early in the month. Love your photography @TownAbout.
I will be putting my shop in holiday mode from tomorrow until the 12th. We are having a few days in Liverpool. I haven’t been since the 80s, but I’ve heard so many good things about it now. We were going to go to London for a spot of culture, but due to Wimbledon I suspect, there are hardly any hotel rooms left at reasonable prices. It looks like Liverpool can give London a run for its money when it comes to galleries and museums. It did a fabulous job hosting Eurovision of course. I’m happy to hear from Scousers or others with any visitor info.
Today’s listing, a gouache painting of the North Beach at Tenby, Pembrokeshire.

Morning everyone,

Happy dancing for your sale @SandyFryerArtistPoet

Have a lovely holiday Chris @ChrisStoneArtist we went to Liverpool in the 80s too. The Bluecoat gallery is surely on your list. We also went over the Mersey and back on the ferry. You only had to pay if you disembarked on the other side and we didn’t!

Jennie @TwistedbytheSea it took me ages to spot the mistake!

Thanks Sue. We were deffo going to the Tate and the Walker, we will add Bluecoat to the list. We are NT members, so also hoping to do Speke Hall and at least one Beatles’ house. I think a ferry across the Mersey is on the cards too.

Morning all.
Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.
I have telephone engineer here again this morning, trying to sort out very noisy line. He tells me landline telephones are being phased out by 2025, I find this quite shocking and worrying, we live in a valley where there is very little mobile connectivity and patchy 4g and there are still plenty of elderly folk around who can’t cope with mobile phones. Do any of you still rely on landline phones?

Morning everyone. Cold and dull here in Herefordshire today I’m warming up with a happy dance for anyone with sales.

Here’s a relist of a greetings card - colourful flowers to brighten things up for the start of the week. Have a nice day all.

@DeborahJonesJewellery We mostly use the landline, because we don’t want to be bothered by our mobiles when we’re not at home, except by calls from close friends and relatives. We’ll also have a job on when they phase out the old phones to update everybody with our mobile numbers!
All loved to here. Another relist from me: Snail for a 1 year old
