Thank you for the feel better wishes ladies and gent. I have been putting ice packs on it all day and taking painkillers. It’s still really swollen and sore and it’s started bruising all down the side and front of my foot

That sounds really nasty, hopefully you can get comfortable and things will ease up soon. Must be a day for it, my in laws were supposed to get the keys to their sheltered housing flat today (can’t actually move in until a shower is put in). Unfortunately she fell before they could get out of the house (she’s ok but needed the ambulance out to check her and get her up) so it’s all off until Monday.
