Morning all.

Thanks for all your well-wishes for Olivia. Her eyes were pretty much the same as last time. She’ll have another check up in a fortnight. As things stand, there’s a possibility she may need laser surgery in the future but that decision won’t be taken yet.

Here’s my new one for today

Good morning all.
Managed to get everyone at the gallery paid yesterday and then went bowling in the afternoon. Cant get the hang of this indoor bowling lark … not sure I will continue with it, might just wait for the outdoor season to start again.
Congrats on your 600 milestone Max @MaxPringJewellery - that’s the one I’m waiting for …
Should be walking group this morning but have got my sister here until lunchtime so will give it a miss.

Morning everyone,
Congratulations Max @MaxPringJewellery on your 600 sales milestone and here’s hoping you follow soon Roz @OrchardFelts

I had my flu jab yesterday. I feel quite rough today, especially with backache. This is normal for me after every coronavirus jab I’ve had.

Good morning everyone.
After yesterday’s stormy weather my next door neighbours fence has taken a battering and 2 panels are hanging by a thread in our garden…unfortunately they rent the house and do nothing in the garden, it’s a mess, so I’m not holding my breathe that they will sort it out. It’s been dodgy for a couple of years and they have ignored it…They have a dog too so I’m hoping they don’t just leave it out to end up in our garden, our cat will be terrified.
Anyway…congratulations @MaxPringJewellery on 600 sales. That’s my next milestone…I’m 20 away so not sure if I’ll do it by the end of the year, but I’m trying!
Here are some oven gloves today

Good morning everyone! Here in Herefordshire it’s a lovely sunny day today after yesterdays deluge but it feels much colder - I can’t believe that we were in T shirts last friday when we had a day out at Powis Castle! Carrying on the Welsh theme todays re-list is a little Welsh pony card.

Something a little different to usual for todays listing

The problem with renting is it’s down to the landlord and not all are good at getting work done. We rent (private rent). We had a married couple who owned the house but he took control of the house - nice bloke but absolutely useless. We had a leaking bath for 16yrs! They only live 4 doors away!
They split up a few years ago and she now does everything and is so much better.

We may almost all live on the same island, but it’s extraordinary how different the weather can be from one part to another. Yesterday’s forecast was abysmal yet we spent the afternoon in the sunshine gardening. Today it’s supposed to be chucking it down but, so far, it’s cool, windy and sunny. This part of the North East has always had its own mini-climate.
Congratulations on hitting 600 sales Max @MaxPringJewellery.
Today I’ve listed some more pinnies, the same fabric as yesterday’s, but smaller.

The owners used to live in the house and they moved abroad but kept the house and rented it out through an agency. They did send someone to sort it out about 5 years ago but they didn’t do a very good job and the fence posts weren’t secured properly so it’s all broken again and has been dodgy for a couple of years. Apparantly the landlord was going to send someone to do it but the tenants said they would do it themselves but haven’t done anything. I suspect they don’t want them round to see the state the gardens in (basically a dog toilet/rubbish dump/weed & nettle patch) and I’m not sure if they are even aware they have a dog.
My daughter & husband rent but I must admit they keep their place immaculate, considering she was a really messy girl when she lived at home I’ve been amazed.!

We’re pretty much the same. We don’t own the house but it’s our home and we treat it as such. We even do some of the smaller repairs ourselves. The leaky bath issue was a big one though. It was leaking when we moved in and we reported it many a time. It was like niagara falls in my kitchen whenever anyone had a shower. It had been left for so long that she ended up having a new joist put in, new floorboards in the bathroom, new kitchen ceiling and 1 wall replastered. It’s a shame she didn’t take more control than him when she was married as now when we report things she’s on the ball and gets them done.
