Mega storms here all day, rain wind and forked lightning, two power cuts. Lost two panes out of the roof of my greenhouse which is a shame as I still had toms and cues growing with the mild weather. It’s been too wild to go out and fix it.
Hello newbies and returnees
Love the Avebury pic Anna @Fififoxi (I’m a Spencer too)
Thanks Max, you are a star to keep this up for us @MaxPringJewellery

Been over to N Wales to visit a friend today and it was lovely and sunny, nice walk along the beach where there was a crow eating a dead dogfish!!!

A new one

I don’t know where the time has gone today as I haven’t really done much. My sister came to visit this afternoon and then I started a new jigsaw puzzle. We’ve had heavy rain this afternoon just as the children were coming out of school so my big beech tree provided shelter as they walked up the road.

I’ll post my relist and then go back and love all the goodies

Better weather than expected on green waste collection day meant I’ve been able to get to grips with the next phase of cutting our hedge. So, of course, the green waste bin is full again. Hopefully the contents will settle a bit so that if we get another good day before the next collection I can top it up.
And then a quick relist of a brooch that expired this morning

Hello,
Late here today. Thanks max @MaxPringJewellery for keeping us organised again this month and congratulations on your milestone.

Hope Olivia got on well today Helen @PocketfulCreations

I met a friend for a run this morning in some woods we don’t often go to and I just had to take a photo of this after all the chat about toadstools last month - I was thrilled to spot this:

Lovely to see lots of new faces - welcome everyone.

Here’s mine for today. The light had gone by the time I finished it so I might have to take some better photos tomorrow

Cracking toadstool, Mel  I passed a lady on our dog walk a couple of days ago who had picked an absolute belter of a parasol mushroom. She assured me it was edible :joy:

Our local National Trust house does a ‘Fungi Trail’ every Autumn - we’ve been meaning to go for the last 18 years, but still haven’t managed it.

Lovely mushroom Mel @aquilacrafts! Is that a fly agaric? I never have any luck finding them when I’m out walking.
Another relist today

Yes, pretty sure it is a fly agaric Carole @MyosotisJewellery . It’s only the second I’ve ever seen so I was quite excited!

Thank you so much for all your hard work keeping this going @MaxPringJewellery :grinning:

Love the fungi @aquilacrafts, a lot more exciting and fairytale like than the toadstools on my lawn

Hope Olivia gets a good report @PocketfulCreations, she has done so well to get to this point.

We also didn’t get any guisers round at Halloween - mind you the whole street was pretty much in darkness and there aren’t many children round here (thank goodness as there are people on the local social media from the other side of town talking about over 100 turning up!).

Another wet and windy day here today, I missed my lunchtime walk yesterday as it was hammering down with rain and then dark by the time I finished work :frowning: I have a post office run today so I’ll have to go even if it’s raining, I have dug out my big rain coact just in case :joy:
