Folksy 365 Daily Listing and Group Promotion Thread - OCTOBER 2023

Thank you Hilary. He’s managed to get to the chair without fainting this morning, so if they can get him walking, they’ll send him home. Just as well really because I wish I’d stopped at one glass of wine last night! :joy::wine_glass:

Okay on Apple if you click on a blue outline box, heart then close the window with the x fine remains but if you click a link or image with a link, heart then back arrow removes.

I would pay more for these earrings with free postage,

I love that card. Saw the news about flooding in Scotland. Is the Rest and be thankful area prone to landslides? I recall having to use an old military route when up there one year.
Stay safe and hope it all improves soon. X

Morning everyone,

Mark @pritteehippee if it were me I would do 2nd class and do it separately. Folksy don’t charge commission on postage. I used to always do 1st class and get it in the post the same day, so the customer would often get an item the next day but postage has gone up so much I’m now using 2nd class, it isn’t that much slower. I have also up to 3 days to post, just incase life gets in the way.

Good morning all it’s nice and bright here today but I’m still a bit chilly.
I’m the same Sharon @OhhhWhatAYarn, there are about 4 or 5 shops where I have loved everything so I pin the item instead. If I have already loved the item shown I will look in the shop for something that I haven’t loved already.
I use my back arrow all the time and the hearts stay where they are. I use a Chromebook
That sounds awful Georgina @GeorginaCrawfordArt I hope things go back to normal soon for you.
Today My relist is this red pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings set

Hello all,

No listing yesterday as we went to a christening to be godparents to our lovely little niece, Mabel. But at the end of the ceremony the vicar announced that we weren’t just attending a christening but a wedding too, and my sister got married! It was absolutely wonderful and such a surprise :heavy_heart_exclamation:

Hope you are all having a good weekend and seeing some sales, going through to like everything now and here’s my listing for today:

Such beautiful photos @GlintBeads, hope you had a great time!

I think it depends on the browser you use and not necessarily the type of computer/device. I have a mac and I use chrome so just checked what happens with that and it doesn’t undo the heart. Perhaps it’s only when using Safari?

Fortunately, I take the bus only 4 miles to work, and the roads here are clear. We’re just cut off from the rest of the world. The power’s on, we have food and fuel, so all’s good.

Just back from a kids party and the roads around here are horrific. It’s been raining non stop since Friday - all the usual spots have flooded and even from being out at 9.30am today and coming back at 12 there’s so much more water about. We had to cross the River Dee and the water looked very very high. I just hope communities prone to flooding like Ballater will be ok as the people and businesses have been through so much already. Off out later for late lunch for husband’s birthday, so thank you for all the good wishes. Hopefully we can get there ok without a boat!! (We’re in Aberdeenshire for those not familiar).

A relist from me today and nothing new ready to share;

I use Safari and Firefox both do exactly the same, if back arrow used deletes the heart. Basically up to each individual to check how it works on their device.

I hope all of you lovely people in Scotland stay safe. My son is in Dalbeattie and when it floods he gets called out as he is in the fire brigade and on duty for floods as well as fires etc.
