Thank you for your well wishes for my Dad. He was taken into A&E at about midnight last night with chest pains and having a history of heart disease we were understandably concerned. My sister and I arrived at about 9:30 and after various tests and examination the consultant decided the pain was muscular - probably the result of a fall last week while on holiday - but that to be on the safe side they would repeat the tests, the cardiologist would see him this afternoon and he would probably be discharged. So we waited…and waited…eventually at 5pm I asked for an update so I could let his wife know what was happening. Turns out the cardiologist only does his rounds in the morning so there was no way he was going to be seen today and would have to stay in overnight. Nice of them to let me sit there waiting all day! Anyway I am home now and I guess I got to spend some quality time chatting to my Dad, which doesn’t happen often enough, even if it wasn’t in the best of locations!

Just a relist from me today, I spent most of the day sitting in the garden in the sunshine -it was too nice to be in the shed.
