Good morning and welcome to the August Daily Challenge, wishing you all lots of lovely sales this month and to say thank you everyone for joining in and supporting each other. I realised yesterday when something popped up in my facebook newsfeed from July 2010 that this wonderfully supportive thread has been running for over 7 years now, started by the fabulous Natalie @NOfkantsCurios way back in early 2010. I have been joining in since the beginning and I just couldn’t imagine not coming on here every morning, it’s now so much a part of my daily routine I would probably feel like I forgot to do something. Have a wonderful month everyone xx
Yay happy dancing for your sales yesterday Sue, Deborah and PipDesigns.
Morning All,
I’m wondering if I have enough space on either desk to do last months accounts - I shall have to have a tidy. Here is my listing for the day
Goos morning all. I am going to attempt to join back in but not sure how long it will last. Thought I would spend all day yesterday getting up to date with some admin only to be thwarted by a phone call from my daughter (currently in South Africa) to say she wasn’t well - ended up with her being admitted to hospital with severe stomach pain. They have ruled out appendicitis but can’t find the cause. I spent all day chasing the insurance company as they wouldn’t give her a bed without payment up front - I eventually had to pay and hope to claim it back. At £300 per night + any treatment I’m hoping the insurance comes through! But then her health is worth whatever it takes. We’ll see what today brings!
I still have a few things in my shop that I havent shared with you yet so I will start off with those until I find time for some more makes. First up another pretty corsage
Roz that sounds awful! And horrible for your daughter no doubt to be feeling unwell away from home.
I hope the insurance comes good and that she can get a diagnosis soon.
Morning all, Roz, how worrying for you, I hope they find the cause soon and your daughter is better in no time at all.
Today’s listing, I’m trying out some new ways of photographing my work, instead of just the object on a white background, it’s slow sales wise at the moment, so probably not the best time to see if they attract more sales! Let me know what you think.
Goodness me, I’ve almost forgotten how to put photos on! If you don’t use it, you loose it!
Brenda @teabreaks I hope your husband gets a solution this time and your lives are made a little easier.
Good morning! Glad to be back (yes it’s school summer holidays again), hope to catch up with you all. So sorry to hear about your daughter Roz @OrchardFelts - sending positive thoughts your way.
Just a relist today, need desperately to go to the tip to clear some workspace!
I’m sure they will find the problem soon and be able to treat your daughter, also hoping the Insurance will come through for you, what a stressful time your going through sweetie, try and breath in some fresh air and walk the stress off, or what ever you can do that works for you, sending love and hopeful speedy action on the doctor’s
Good Morning, well !!! its 1st August , I have put on this today, it has 30% off, use code happydiscount at the checkout
Roz - @Orchard Felts - what a terrible worry for you - hope you get better news soon. Brenda @Gweddus - never too early to start Christmas - it gets earlier every year. Have been keeping up with you during the summer but let things lapse a bit - just needed to do other things. Hoping to get back on a more regular routine.
Sorry to hear about your daughter Roz @OrchardFelts I hope she makes a speedy recovery xx
Wishing your husband a quick recovery too Brenda @teabreaks xx
I’m loving those miniature sweets Jeanie @bluebeezy
They must have been super fiddly to make xx
I have these Halloween Pumpkin earrings to show you today. I’m not getting a lot done this week and it’s making me anxious. I’m having a little break from the decorating to catch up on the forums.
I’ve left my husband painting the walls. He’s whistling away so he must be enjoying himself
Positive healing energy to all those who need it - never good when people are in hospital especially if they are so far away.
Can I please have a happy dance - no not a sale but the cards I purchased from Jess @jessicagoulty (albeit with much wailing at Paypal) have arrived in a timely manner unlike the last lot which spent 2 1/2 weeks on holiday with Royal Mail
