Had lots of commission work to do this week - not always my favourite thing to do and had to have words with myself to finding lots of nonsense jobs to do instead of cracking on!! Almost there now!

Back to normal today arrived home a little after 10pm, a very long day! PJ’s and straight to bed, feeling a bit tired today and I’m working a few hours tomorrow as well so I have booked Monday off so I’m looking forward to that

Morning all,
Thank you for all the best wishes, my son is really looking forward to his new job and working more normal hours, there’s about 13 people who work there, obviously not at the same time, but it’s a busy place so he shouldn’t get bored. And after everything he’s done in his present job, he should be more than capable. He didn’t go into work until the evening yesterday! He spent it with his girlfriend, whereas before, he would have just gone in to help out whenever they asked him to.

I bought the fabric from some folk that support woman crafters in Ghana, I got some bauxite, shell and coconut beads from them too and some handmade glass beads that I have been slowly using in my work.

Afternoon all . Lovely day again ! 
Off for a walk with the dogs on the beach . Kind of making myself go, as I really want to get something made , paint the kitchen cupboard doors … etc etc… there’s always so much to ‘do’ , but I really need to appreciate the sun /outdoors too !

Good afternoon everyone, sorry I was missing yesterday life took over and I ran out of time.
Congratulations to you son on getting a new job @Susieshackletontextiles. It is such a worry about work isn’t it. We moved up to Oswestry from London 6 years ago and our son came with us. He was just in and out of horrible zero hours jobs with really bad employers and agencies for the first almost 5 years but in Jan last year he managed to get a permanent job with a small firm close to us here. He changed overnight from a grumpy introverted person to a happy one.
Welcome back Max @MaxPringJewellery hope it was a productive few days.
