Still feeling under the weather with my cold, can foresee a day of snuggled under a blanket on the settee, of course only after I’ve taken Charlie greyhound for his walk.

Lynn @erkinwald the hat has arrived, it’s lovely, thank you so much.
We went to a pumpkin farm yesterday as part of my birthday celebrations. It was the 1st day it was open and the signs as where to go were seriously lacking, and some had obviously blown away in the wind, but once we found the pumpkin field I was happy, we came home with a nice stash of interesting pumpkins. We told them to sort there signage out and they said they were working on it for tomorrow!
It’s a very large windswept farm I was grateful I’d put my big puffy winter coat in the car!

Well what a surprise grannie had yesterday! My mum is staying with us for a week or so and last night my son and partner came for a surprise weekend visit, surprise for grannie not me! It was lovely to see her reaction and we all had a lovely evening, but I am little hoarse this morning as I haven’t nattered so much for so long.
A relist for me today as a consequence.

Good morning all! Weather here is calm atm, but the forecast for today is awful, so going to batten down the hatches today I think!
My list for today, is hot off my crochet hook! Double layered, so super warm, crocheted cap.

My sort of day out Sue @SueTrevor. I love going to the lavender farm only difference purple and warmer time of year.
Closed now cannot wait until next spring, only a few miles up the road and the scent is delicious.
Used to be a dairy farm but no longer viable, they do weddings and more now.

Morning all. Foul and wet here today.
Our house is in chaos as husband has bought a new kitchen range, unfortunately unlike the old one it doesn’t heat the water, so plumbing pipes need to be run the full length of the cottage from the boiler, and they need to be recessed into the walls. The noise, dust and upheaval is depressing me, so I am going to escape to my workshop for the afternoon. I anticipate we will be without hot water and cooker for the foreseeable.
