Folksy 365 - Daily Listing Challenge Thread - September 2021

Good morning all and congrats to all those with sales already  On the subject of dodgy shops I have just done a quick count and from the first 3 pages of the newest shops there are 9 that I have reported that are still there, its really starting to get my goat as it looks bad on Folksy and on us as sellers. One of the genuine sellers is one I follow on FB and Twitter so I have messaged them to let them know and its not the first time there photos have been stolen and used to open a Folksy shop :frowning: Anyway enough moaning for today lol, here is my relist for this morning
Have a great day all  xxx

I have reported the same ones Sharon. did the bag one this morning as found that on the front page. As you said does not look good when customers see it they will think we are the new Ebay. Plus they are getting away with it. Like you getting fed up.

Steph. Morning. Much better thank you. Hubby started with Covid couple of days before me. Don’t know where he picked it up - still wears a mask, sanitisers, careful where he goes etc. etc. Both spent three days in bed, did feel quite ill & both double jabbed. On top of that we both had to isolate for ten days. Wouldn’t like to think what it would have been like if not jabbed & wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Morning.
I too have reported a couple of non folksy looking shops. It does seem to take a while for them to be removed, but with a small admin team I don’t know how else Folksy could deal with them.

Pair of earrings today.
Hope everyone has a good Thursday.

Morning all, caught up to here. Thanks for the warm welcome back

@feelfeltfound hope you’re feeling OK today! I’m using the OH’s laptop now, but do also have a Sony tablet which is perfect for when I don’t feel like sitting at a desk (his laptop was originally for gaming so it’s huge - defo not for a lap!) The Sony tablet must be at least 5 years old & is still working great, & Mum has a Samsung which again has lasted years.

I actually sent an email to Support about all those spammy shops. It’s as if the captcha thingy to identify bots doesn’t work any more! It just looks terrible on the homepage. I got a reply from Ethan at 8.15 last night saying they would have a look ASAP but to continue reporting anyway - I suppose it is only 8.30am now so fingers crossed they should all disappear this morning :crossed_fingers:

Here’s my new listing for today…

I agree with all the bad shops and I report different ones every week. I wonder why it takes so long to get rid of them?

Hope you feel better soon.
I had it year last April even though I was isolating. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever had. Take care and take it easy once you start feeling stronger.

Morning all. Again it’s dull and chilly here today.
Pauline @CreationsforTinyTots hope the new proceedure goes well for you.
@feelfeltfound Hoping your feeling ok today.
Ruth @RuthSmithJewellery glad to hear you and your OH are over the dreaded Covid.
Hugs for all those in need of a hug. Well done all those with sales.

Here’s mine for today

@RuthSmithJewellery glad you’re feeling better. I had covid prior to vaccines being available and although I was never seriously ill with it I’m still having issues; smelling smoke when there definitely isn’t any, palpitations, panic attacks, fatigue and cluster headaches. I can be fine for weeks and then get struck and unable to do much for days. I’m sure if I had the vaccine prior I wouldn’t be feeling like this 9 months on.

@MadeintheTemple welcome back! I got a lovely book called Mending with Love by Noriko Misumi, really has inspired me with how to go about visibly mending - rather like the kintsugi ethos.

A relist from me until I finish off a few more products;

Morning all. I’m freezing here in Oswestry, let’s hope the weather forecast is right Caroline @Caroleecrafts I could do with a bit more warmth.

Brenda @teabreaks it’s only the 2nd of the month and you are on the naughty step. How many days do you think you’ll be off of it this month?

Hope your back improves quickly Max @MaxPringJewellery and that you get some good nights sleep, It’s awful when you have bad nights isn’t it?

I seem to have lost my fb connections again, has anyone else?

Lots of lovely new makes again today. I am back to normal now. All of the cardigans and jackets for my last order are finished and off to their new owner so I can start listing and networking again. Today I have a new listing (trumpet fanfare please), a chunky knit jumper with a star motif

Good morning all! Sorry, we missed yesterday, due to a sudden call to join our younger daughter and her 12 year old son in Scarborough. We had a great morning in the castle, with plenty of open space - chilly but an exciting place for Farley. Scarborough itself was a different matter, very crowded and almost nobody wearing masks or making any attempt at social distancing.
Anyway, I’ve liked/loved you all to here. I’ve decided not to join in for the first half of this month at least, because we will have a whole week at a live craft fair, and until that’s over I will certainly have nothing new nor much time either. I’ll go on loving you all, and I’ll try to keep up with all your news. X

Morning All,

Hope everyone is having a good day so far!

Hope those feeling poorly get better soon, and good luck with your craft fair @XStitcherJoss

Having dropped little man off to school this morning I’ve managed some tidying (I can now see the living room floor for the first time in about 6 weeks ) and listed a new mug rug for you!

Have a good day all!

Cheers Lou
