Folksy Friday theme 2 September - The Joy of Mustard

Hi everyone! For this week’s #folksyfriday we’d love you to share the joys of mustard! So please post all your favourite yellow finds on this thread - and remember if you want to take part elsewhere you can choose your own #folksyfriday theme and share it using the hashtag. We will share and retweet as many as we can.

Here is this week’s official Folksy Friday by Amanda from @hofficraft

Oh Amanda @hofficraft @folksycontent You have absolutely made my day!!! Thank you so very very much for including my tea cosy in your fabulous Folksy Friday finds  You have chosen some beautiful items!

I’m a HUGE fan of mustard (you can probably tell that from my shop!).

Heres my contribution to #folksyfriday, will pop over to my Twitter as well and pop it on

Whaaat! It can’t be friday again already. Anyhoo mustard is not normally my sort of colour but these have caught my eye

they remind me of my biology years and peering at things through microscopes.

Never sure if we should be putting up our own items or someone else’s, so have done both. This little fella is gorgeous and is also on my Twitter page.

Hi Natalie
Your stuff is lovely! I shall be purchasing some mustard fingerless gloves as soon as it gets cold!

I’m not a huge fan of a lot of mustard*, but love it when it’s used as a secondary colour, like in this print by @AlisonBickDesign :

*Think it stems as a toddler biting into a very shiny, full, yellow tube of Colman’s - got the shock of my life LOL!

I love mustard when it’s combined with grey. I love your choices for the blog

Oh Thank you Liz, very kind of you to mention my Fennel & Sparrow print! I’ve also done it in a totally mustard version for the mustard-lovers!

Mustard is definitely a Love It or Hate It! I hanker after a nice mustard colour cardy (I always see stylish people wearing them with dark jeans and stripey Ts) but I don’t think the colour suits me personally.

Hi everyone, great Folksy Friday theme! I like mustard accents, this mustard version of my Fennel & Sparrow print looks great on grey walls!

In honour of this week’s theme look what I made

Courgette soup in case you were wondering (I grow yellow courgettes), the other option of tomato wasn’t going to fit quite as well.

I had to preprepare my Folksy Friday and it has a decided French theme. Well you get a lot of moutard in France so I can just about get away with it :slight_smile:https://uk.pinterest.com/joysofglass/folksy-goes-to-france-for-folksyfriday/
