Does anyone know where the cover pictures for the gift guides come from. Was having a browse and saw a charming metal wren against the Gifts for Gardener guide.
Most oddly this lovely wren - which is the reason I decided to look in that gift guide, doesn’t appear to be there ???
I have noticed this before. I have been drawn in by a lovely item only to find its not there. As the gift guide categories have been around a long time, maybe its just an old item that has since been sold.
Yes, I have noticed this too in other gift guide categories - not very good really is it?
Probably the easiest way is to ask Admin - they will have records of when the image was first used. It is a rather nice wren isn’t it!

Had a look but can’t find it.
I think it happens when the item was in the gift guide but has sold, I guess the cover picture has to be manually updated.
Have managed to find the artist on google. It’s Alison Catchlove and the bird is on her website : )
Can’t find it on here though.

Helen You’re a star. I just liked her Facebook page and shared the most fanstastic Woodpecker i found on there. Don’t think I’m going to be getting one for Christmas though - as I really do need that new camera and won’t be allowed both !

PS: I see she has a shop on here but only one thing stocked a leaf. That reminded me and sure enough in my Favourites I found another of her leaves I’d been thinking of buying at Xmas last year ! At least my taste is consistent.

I searched her name on Folksy and it didn’t come up with anything when I looked last night, but this morning I have only just noticed that you can search for actual shops in the search function.I hadn’t got a clue about that. Doh.
Helen that part about shop search was mentioned a couple of days ago by someone else who hadn’t known it was there.
Here’s another tag for Folksy @sianfolksy - can you fix the items / shops search please so people know that the shop search is there.
I know and occasionally use it but and it’s a pain to use and if you don’t know it’s there you can’t use it at all.

I’m afraid I can’t give you a definitive y/n or any kind of timescale, but I have added it to feature requests. Have also requested fix for sold out/unavailable items showing as featured image for gift guides.
