If I send a message to someone on facebook who is enquiring about my work, and include a link to the item on here, or if I post a link on facebook. I am often seeing the gift guide picture on the link instead of a picture of my item. Is anyone else having the same problem, or am I the problem?

I’ve just added a link to my textile cards section on https://www.facebook.com/TextileTreasure and it does seem to be okay when looking at it from my browser. I’d report it as a possible bug though, just to be safe, if you are seeing something different for your items.

I find that the gift guide button is included on my postings on FB as well as the item I am promoting.

Oh, I wondered what that gift guide thing was. My feed seems to be full of them. There must be a bug.

There is a bug, Folksy support / @dougfolksy are aware of it and trying to fix it.

I asked @dougfolksy about this last week. He assured me it was being sorted! Meanwhile I find if you delete the comment with the gift guide link in it and retry it usually works ok second time.

I posted something on FB earlier and had the same issue so had to hit the remove preview people. There were 3 or 4 people who had posted within the hour previous to me and their pictures were fine so it seems to only affecting some people.

It’s an odd one that’s for sure, and I’ll be glad when the wicked glitch is dead

It’s been happening to me for quite a while, but as you say not all the time. Hope it’s sorted soon.
