GPSR - EU representative

Hello,

I removed the option of selling to the EU when the new rules came along regarding GPSR and needing an EU representative.

However, I have just been contacted by someone from Holland for the first time since then. They are looking to purchase one of my limited edition prints (not an etching, a print). Is this worth me looking into, or is it just not worth the hassle?

Many thanks for any advice,

Hayley

I have no idea about this at all. But from what I have read it is an expensive thing to put in place. For me it is of no use as I do not sell enough to make it worth my while.

Ahh, thank you Frutejuce! I thought that might be the case! I can’t imagine I would make enough sales to cover it!

This website will do you an EU representative for ÂŁ250 per year so probably not cost effective for selling a print.

Thank you Sasha! That’s really helpful! The customer is now asking about an original….I think I read somewhere that originals are exempt, but it all seems very complicated.

Such a shame isn’t it. Over the years I have had wonderful customers from all over the world and now I am reduced to my wonderful customers in England, Scotland and Wales.

It really is such a shame! Fingers crossed we can sell there again in the future.

I stopped selling anywhere apart from England Scotland and Wales since we very stupidly implemented Brexit. What a shambles some people should have been prosecuted about that.
