Hi all, 70 year old retired electrician, I have been doing embroidery since 1970. Now getting to stitch full time is great, none of my stuff is not copyrighted so I am not looking to sell only spread the craft. I do miss entering the Woodlawn Craft show in Virginia. Started stitching and find the free form great.
If that is Virginia in the USA, I’m afraid you would not be able to sell on Folksy anyway, as it is for UK sellers only.
I don’t think this is a genuine poster. If you click on the name, a message pops up to say they’ve been “silenced” because of AI detection.
Maybe our wee not so friendly bot has popped its head out to test another direction of travel?

Just remembered we are not supposed to specifically reference posters so deleted my thoughts about AI forum use.
I’ve spotted listing text that seems to me to be generated by AI. It just doesn’t feel human. I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s off somehow. The first post here was weird, which is why I clicked on the posters name.
Yes I totally agree with you. I am sad to see so much AI generated listing text on here now. I spent most of my life as a freelance writer in advertising, PR and journalism and so am all too aware of it.

What I like is that it seems to be an AI tool that’s noticed and blocked it. One good use of AI.
