Foraging blackberry  .

I have decided to resurrect my blog and am challenging myself to show WIP of a new sensory play mat. The idea of the mat is for a colourful crocheted mat full of tiny pieces of texture and colour to inspire the imagination of babies and children. they can touch and feel all the texture of the crochet.
The mat will be in freeform crochet which like painting with yarn…no rules just pick up some yarn and do any stitches in any direction.

It’s been a while since I updated my blog but today is “Just a Card” day and I wanted to share the ongoing campaign to educate people on the need to support small independent businesses, designers and artists.

A couple of pages from my sketchbook and mention of a recent talk by Joanna O’Neill that I attended (with links). The thumbnails you can see here show two of Joanna’s printed cards that I bought.
