If someone misuses the daily theme tags you can report them to admin using the ‘report item to folksy’ button at the bottom of the listing - specify that it is misuse of daily theme tag as a reason for the report. They do keep track of who misuses tags and if someone does it too often they get blocked from appearing.
(I do wonder if this is an honest mistake - a limit on how many items you can tag has been mentioned but it is not mentioned on the list that is accessible from the dashboard so if people are using that as a guide then they might not have seen the limit or seen it and then forgotten. I had a look through the jewellery section and there are multiple shops with more than 5 items tagged)
I have asked Folksy if they will give us another go at Made in the Midlands, so that those who stuck to the five items at least have a fair chance of being seen. I can only presume that a possible explanation is as you suggest Sasha, and some had not seen it, as the figure of more than 50 items has been reached in one case. @ChristineJonesPrintmaker@SashaGarrett I would rather think it was a mistake than otherwise!
I wonder if we need to have it as ‘tag 5 things only midlands’ etc whilst we get used to it? If you’ve got to type it out there is no way you can claim you didn’t know just like we had ‘tag one thing only April’ etc. whilst we got used to that.
While we are talking tags… I was trying to find the post where someone said that tags get added if you use a new one… and I said you should be so lucky… Can’t find the post now but did find this screen snip I meant to add…
Why on earth are Pink Plum Violet not in the colour list…
Actually pink is in the list… can’t persuade my screen snipper to capture it but it is there about 8 down so why does it say what it says in picture above ??
Have you accidentally got a space or 2 after the pink and violet? Looking at the gap between the k and the . I think there are some spaces and that is why it is saying its not on the list. If I put them in as colours I get them come up (but not plum).
You could be right but I find i need to put a space if i am adding them quickly (as I do everything) otherwise I pick up the odd variations such as “sky blue pink with yellow dots” which always seem to get picked up much more easily than the simple single word colours we actually want to use.
Will check with my next listing when I want to add purple and plum and violet
