How are sales currently?

! know its that 6 million dollar question!!! Just wondering how everyone is faring at the moment, I have sold on Folksy before and love the community and currently considering starting again, having explored a local store rental that want £20 a month for 1 shelf plus a days work in the shop… So how are those sales? Thanks xx

Sales are good for me. I went down the shop route too, when I first started but it was far too expensive. I’ve always found Folksy to be a great place to have a little shop. As long as you have the right product and self promote on social media to build up a customer base, you should do well.

Sales? What sales. My last sale on Folksy was about 18 months ago. My face-to-face sales work much better.

Mine have been slow this past month or so - I was on holiday for a week or so, got a couple of sales as soon as I reopened, then nothing. Although I have been poorly and not able to add new items or be active on social media so that hasn’t helped! Am about to add some new listings today, so we shall see…

If you decide to come back to Folksy I recommend reading the blog article on the new search algorithm - making sure that your listings are written so that they perform well in the search helps get those sales.
(also read anything you can on how social media is working at the moment they keep changing those algorithms as well)

Still not good!

Hiya.
Sasha, please could you pop a link to that blog article on here? I’m being a numpty and can’t seem to find it! I used to come up quite well on searches, but now, absolute disaster. So I need to change something.
Thank you!

here you go Bex @BlueDesignShed - even though the date is from several years ago it was updated to cover the changes to the algorithm last year.
