So the electricity board called around today to tell me my power would be off while they continued working on a major fault that left us without electricity for 8hrs+ on Wednesday night. What is a good project to do while power is off I thought - make some flowers, all I need is elbow grease and some hot water. Hot water can be obtained without electricity by boiling some on the gas hob - so what did I do, used the surface over the hob to lay out the flowers which now can’t be moved and so I can’t make the hot water! Duh…

Maybe do some needle felting? I have found in the past its very good therapy for me when frustrated lol!
