How to sort out a sale

Looking at previous questions and answers the only way to have a shop wide sale is to create a discount code which I have done. I have put the code in shop announcement but it doesn’t stand out very much - am I missing a better way please?

You could make a new shop banner with the sale announcement and use that while the sale is on - you could also go mad on social media and promote the heck out of it that way

Only one thought from me. Why on earth are you having a sale. Your jewellery is absolutely gorgeous, stunning, fantastic and very reasonably priced.
If its not selling here it’s not because it is overpriced or in any way undesireable. The problem will be lack of visibility only.
I see you have a great FB following. I would think you would be better served retaining your prices, not selling yourself short and paying FB £20 to run a 10 day add …showcasing a range of your lovely pieces and linking back to your shop.
Just my thought anyway

Aww thanks for your kind comments. I have had it on holiday mode for a couple of months because I’ve been doing a few shows and because I’ve had a lot going on a home so I wanted to get things moving and make some new pieces. But you are right, it’s worth a bit of FB advertising - next job after lunch

Brilliant.
I think that when you set the price that is what your head tells you you are happy with for the effort put in. If you then sell for less than that… you will always feel a bit cross about it…

As you don’t have a huge number of pieces, I would go into each listing and enter a sale price - would probably take you about 10 minutes? (and another 10 minutes to undo at the end of the sale!). That’s the only way you’ll get the sale prices showing in search results, in features, or in the Sale category.
