Hi everyone, I have been on Folksy about 2 months now and new to online selling. Although I’ve had quite a few views I haven’t actually sold anything. I think my pricing is ok so any tips/advice would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Denise
It does tend to take a while to get the ball rolling.
It took 3 months for my first sale.
Try to keep adding new things to your shop if you can to keep things fresh. Also make good use of all the available tag space.
Use a good descriptive item title and write a full description.
Have good clear photos and use all five slots if you can.
Try to spend a little time each day networking on social media.
I personally prefer Instagram & Pinterest, but there’s Facebook, Twitter, CraftJuice, Google+ etc
Also there’s a fab little group on the forum running a Daily Listing Challenge.
It’s a great way to chat & make friends.
Wishing you all the best with your shop

Jewellery is a very crowded section of the market place so sales require patience and a lot of promotion. You can add links back to your shop from the social medias then if someone spots something they like they can get to your shop to buy it. The blog has lots of useful info http://blog.folksy.com/social-media-tips-designers-makers
Thank you both for your comments.
Denise is a friend of mine. I have seen her work and it’s really pretty.
Good luck and keep on posting in the forums.
I am on folksy since 2014. Its 2018 and still nothing.
