Issues with item relisting losing collection link

Relisting items…beware! Just had to relist a number of my items…don’t know why we have to spend time doing this, but even more annoying is that all the relisted items have lost their collection setting so have just spent an unproductive afternoon updating my listings and there is no bulk facility for this.
As a Folksy Plus subscriber I should be able to list items indefinitely!
This is utterly annoying and time consuming.
Has anybody found a way around this?

I relisted some items this morning and some more after seeing your post and none of them lost their collections which makes me wonder if your issue has something to do with the database work that Doug was doing (he posted a thread about it here in the forums). Drop an email to support@folksy.com and let them know about it .
To assign items to different collections go to the shopkeeping tab on your dashboard, this will bring up a list of all your items with collections buttons next to each one, you just need to click on the appropriate collection button to assign the item to that collection (the button goes green when you’ve done it).
To relist items just go to the listings tab and check the little box on the left of the listings you want to renew and then the renew button at the top of the page, you can renew multiple items at the same time (I’ve found it will happily do batches of 25 in a single go, some people have had issues if they try and do a whole page (40 items) in one go). I organised my listings under that tab by renewing all of a particular type of item at the same time and then when I add new listings I renew all of the other listing of that particular type at the same time. I find that this makes it much easier for me to find listings I want to renew (or hide if I sell something at a market).
I’ve never found either of these activities particularly time consuming.

I’ve had my shop here since 2008 and collections / relisting have been around for a long time. Never had a problem with relisting nor lost a collection setting yet. Just relisted a couple to check and the collection settings are still set.

Thank you for your input and I will use the facility under shopkeeping. I have just been looking at my listings section.
Still frustrating that items need to be relisted at all, especially when dealing with a number of sites which do not require this action.
