I wish the loft was Sue, sadly storm Frank damaged my roof and chimney stack. I was having to clear a path for the roofers and also move items that have got damp.

Oh Rachel, sorry I hadn’t made that connection. What a pain.
Thanks for asking, but no, mum’s boiler, heating & water still isn’t sorted out.
A long, protracted and annoying tale - but we lost confidence in the engineers when they replaced a part in the boiler and it still leaked & they reckoned another new part was required.
We have another engineer coming out, unfortunately not until Monday, but he comes well recommended (sadly he wasn’t working on christmas day when the thing broke down).
Mum has an aged cat so won’t move out of the house, so in the meantime is keeping warm with heaters, layers of clothing & hot water bottles & I’m transporting water down there regularly.
Sue @BeadstormJewellery that’s terrible. Fingers crossed Monday the new boiler man sorts it.
Rachel @GreenwoodMakes I hope you get your roof sorted out. All these floods and storms are really doing alot of damage.

Good morning everyone, last day of relaxing today got a busy day planned for tomorrow taking down the dec’s cleaning and sorting out my wardrobe a regular New Years event for me lol!
Good morning all. Feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Last night after admiring the sharpness of a knife I was using to chop tomatoes I discovered just how effective it was when I sliced my thumb by mistake! Then my ex gave the dog a bone which upset his stomach so he had me up and down all night wanting to go in the garden so not much sleep. To top it all off I have woken up with a streaming cold. I really don’t want to go back to work on Monday!

Morning all, I’m getting back into a sort of routine but not making anything new for my shop until I’ve done a little sewing for my home. Curtain linings, window seat cover, cushions and a new tweed coat for me. Finding it hard to get back but loving all your new items.
