Well I left my job a week ago and i have not regretted it.My other half found me a part time job at the army base in the office so Im happy with that and am feeling much better,.Since this job is now 3 days a week I now have the time to do what I wanted to and work on opening my own company. I feel better and am really pleased I dont have to be an air hostess anymore…I had to much jet lag and always felt tired. So just to say leaving my full time job with the support of my other half in the army was the best thing I could do,. :smile I have no regrets.Happy Friday Folksy friends.tonightt we are off to a club what are your plans for tonight and the weekend?
Well done to you, Im glad you feel better about things.
Ive no plans really, tidying and crafting seem to be the usual activities.
Well done. There are times when support from a partner is really essential and this seems to be just the time, well done to you both. Good luck with your company. Marg.
Good for you - that’s a big decision to take but sounds like the very right thing for you! Well done.
Good for you, it’s surprising what a change does. A similar thing happened with me almost 7 years ago. My hubby went for a job in London and he said if he got it I could give up my 3 days a week at a well known supermarket. He knew I hated it and I always came home with headaches after every shift.
I now spend most of my time making and selling on sites including here, but not a lot in my shop at the moment.
It was the best thing I ever did except I’m getting the headaches again from too much concentrating on my work.
well done…there is nothing better than working for yourself. I have been at home , making and selling since 1971 and have never regretted it…good luck
Well done! It’s lovely to hear about someone following their dream. Good luck with the new company.
Good for you Faye! So many people must think being an air hostess is a dream job, never thinking about the long hours, stress and jet-lag it entails. Congratulations on your new jobs
Hope the new job goes well and it will makes a good bridge between the old job and setting up on your own. Keep us up to date on your progress.Hazel
Well done, hope everything goes well!
It’s such a relief when you make that jump from something you didn’t enjoy. Good luck with your new job and crafting.
All the best with your new working life. Look forward to seeing your shop come alive!
Well done Faye! Wish you all the best with your all plans!
