Evening all, hope your having a good weekend and it’s been more profitable than mine so far. I really can’t work craft fairs out this year, high footfall but public just not spending. Here’s today’s listing, another carbon fibre just to bump the collection up on the shop and with Father’s Day could be a good move.

The food stall made me feel sick.
I have some earring stands and a bracelet stan. I have only used the bracelet stand once.
The earring stands I have used abit more but not much. Do you think anyone would buy that sort of thing?
@hobbitgirlie1880 Yes, people would buy the jewellery stands. I have sold them as de-stash on folksy under supplies and they have done well. Hope you put them on and show us x

Thank you everyone for your craft fair condolences. It seems the fair I attended wasn’t the only one that didn’t do too well. Sorry - I think I may have jinxed you all somehow. Hope your fair tomorrow goes well Sue - fingers crossed the weather doesn’t put people off xx

Morning Blossoms…a bit wild and windy here this morning! Sorry to hear of poor fairs - I am just in the process of booking a few over the summer at the local NT attraction. I have done them there before and I don’t really expect too much from them but they are not expensive and only 2 miles away so worth a try, I only need to sell one scarf to make it worth while! I am also looking at the possibility of doing a fortnightly craft market on a Thursday - quite a way away (about 40 miles) but i think fairly well established and as i now will have thursdays free (when i used to do OH’s accounts!) i thought i might give it a try.
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I had a lovely day with my sister yesterday, got to take her to the station and daughter to work and then spend the day catching up with my chores.

Hope fairs go much better today, than yesterday! Sounded like not a good time was had 
The weather is terrible here today, they weren’t joking when they said it was going to rain…dear me, never seen rain like this for ages…urghh!

Just bought an item via Paypal and was asked at checkout if I wanted to take advantage of their newest idea. That I could receive the item before I paid for it, to check that I was happy with the item prior to my money leaving paypal - has anyone else had this and does anyone know how it will affect sellers like us here on folksy?
Rachel - I have used this feature several times. Not entirely sure of the thinking behind it but the seller still gets immediate payment but the money doesn’t leave your bank account until about 14 days later - I guess they reckon you should have received your item by then. You don’t have to do anything extra, I think they just assume everything is ok if they haven’t had a complaint within the 14 days. Maybe it makes it easier for them to deal with refunds if needed. Don’t think it affects the seller in any way thats different to the current format.
